Random thoughts and other fun things to read

I've been thinking about several quotes for the past week. The one that started this is one by Jack Kerouac: "The only people for me are the mad ones, the ones who are mad to live, mad to talk, mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time, the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn, like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars and in the middle you see the blue centerlight pop and everybody goes "Awww!" I thought of the first line while talking to Joel and then had to look up the rest later. My latest thought on the matter is that it sounds like people Odin would like.

The appropriate followup to that quote is the Cheshire Cat: "We're all mad here." :)
